Grow here.    AECOM's  Manchester office  requires an Infrastructure Associate Director to undertake project management and drive various civil infrastructure-related commercial and residential development projects to help develop the Company's business.
The Business Unit is highly multidisciplinary, comprising civil and highway, structural, mechanical, and electrical/process engineers, architects, project managers, and surveyors.
Our market sectors include industrial development and logistics, airports, infrastructure development/regeneration, and Government Agency/Local Authority projects.
Here's what you'll do: You will serve as lead engineer on mid to large-sized projects and be able to lead a team of 5-10 engineers and technicians to program workloads and successfully deliver projects to time, budget, and quality.
Provide specialised technical input to studies and designs for staff's specific area of expertise.
Provide technical expertise and present complex technical solutions to clients.
You will need to perform quality control reviews of work developed by others.
Provide estimates for the engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements on large projects.

Civil Engineering degree or similar.
Chartered Engineer status (MICE) Detailed knowledge of drainage design, including piped systems and SuDS-based systems.
Be familiar with storage design and computer programs such as InfoDrainage.
Experience preparing Contract Drawings and Specifications and negotiating Section 38, 278, 104, and 106 Agreements.
