Assistant Restaurant and Bar Manager - Southampton Assistant Restaurant and Bar Supervisor, Voco Southampton Central We are seeking a unstuffy, down to earth Restaurant and Bar Supervisor to lead the team at our brand new restaurant.
This role is ideal for a hospitality professional with a passion for exceptional service and a keen eye for detail.
Hotel experience is not essential for this role.
Atlantic Gate is a newly created restaurant concept that will be a key part of the refurbished voco Southampton (an IHG hotel).
The Assistant Restaurant and Bar Manager will be instrumental in this exciting relaunch.
Our open kitchen and sit-up cocktail bar will create an immersive, sensory experience, making us a sought-after venue for travellers and locals alike with its exceptional seafood dishes, curated cocktails, and stylish ambiance.
As the Restaurant and Bar Supervisor, you will ensure that each guest enjoys a seamless, memorable experience, from our exquisite seafood to our signature cocktails.
You will play a pivotal role in bringing our vison to life, balancing the elegance of fine dining with a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere.
You will: Oversee daily operations of the restaurant and bar, ensuring a consistently high standard but unstuffy style of service Train, mentor, and manage front-of-house staff, fostering a culture of excellence, professionalism, and teamwork.
Work closely with the team to coordinate a smooth and unified guest experience.
Have proven experience working in a branded environment Have extensive knowledge of seafood cuisine, cocktails, and wines, with a commitment to quality and creativity.
