The Assistant Management Accountant will play a crucial role is supporting the financial operations of the business.
This role will suit an ambitious individual with a strong eye for attention to detail and the ability to build close working relationships across the business.
The role would be ideally suited to a part qualified accountant, If you have not yet started your accountancy qualification, you must be AAT qualified, or degree qualified looking to start future studies.
We will also offer study support for the successful candidate.

What you'll do: Assist in the production of the monthly management accounts for UK and US subsidiaries within agreed timescales Perform variance analysis and provide financial insights Assist with monthly balance sheet reconciliations ensuring any variances are investigated Assist with the management of the cash flow forecast ensuring inflows/outflows are accurate and ensure the integrity of the model is maintained Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial data Assist in operating and improving internal controls within the finance function Ensure client contracts are accounted for properly and all checks are completed Monthly and quarterly HMRC/US Tax submissions Work closely with the Finance Assistant to ensure all accounts payable and receivable transactions are processed accurately and in a timely manner What we're looking for: Minimum of 2 years experience in a management accounting environment with strong understanding of accounting principles Proficient in Excel and experience using financial management systems Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Excellent communication skills with the ability to develop working relationships across the business Desire to continuously improve systems and processes What We Offer Study support Agile working - make the most of your day!
