Assistant Management Accountant (9-Month Ftc)

Assistant Management Accountant High Wycombe / hybrid working (2 days office & 3 working from home) £43,568 + Excellent Benefits 9-month FTC covering Parental/Maternity Leave As an Assistant Management Accountant, you will support the Management Accountant in delivering timely and accurate monthly management accounts and improving current reports and processes.
Key Requirements: Experience in management accounting, particularly in journal preparation, with proven expertise in balance sheet management.
Advanced Excel skills, including the use of pivot tables and formulas, are essential requirements of the role.
System-wise, familiarity with SUN and Q&A systems is preferred.
Key responsibilities include Assisting with the preparation of balance sheet reconciliations in collaboration with the Financial Accounting team.
Ensuring management accounting tasks are up to date under the direction of the Management Accountant (MA).
Preparing monthly and quarterly reports, ensuring timely production of monthly financial statements.
Driving Value for Money across the organisation.
Completing monthly journals with appropriate supporting documentation.
Supporting the annual production of financial statements and external audit preparation.
