To support the Kinetics Business Director in the daily operational activities required to manage the assets owned by the business unit, and to support the business unit in the development and acquisition of new companies and new assets in the renewable space and LNG to Power businessthrough undertaking the following activities; Business Growth Follow the sector trends in global / regional markets and support business development activities related to potential projects in the renewables, and LNG to Power market in line with company policies, Conduct competitor analyses related to the companys business activities and to direct company strategies depending on the possible plans of the competitors, Building a comprehensive understanding of the industry dynamics (competitors, customers, ecosystem partners, regulators, etc.
), Assist with technical reviews within the team as well as prepare executive review sessions with both internal and external management teams to identify and assess the feasibility of identified projects and investment opportunities, Engage in reviewing new investment activities, assist with investment feasibility and valuation studies and preliminary studies about technical and commercial feasibility to identify viable business opportunities, Coordinating external advisors (technical / environmental/ legal and financial) as well as a variety of internal teams during business development efforts to develop an investment opportunity, Assist with the negotiation and agreement of commercial contract and acquisition contracts to reach financial closeness for any business investment transaction.
Commercial and Contractual Business Management Reviewing and understanding all commercial contracts, Ensuring that Karpowership identifies and performs all of its contractual obligations including discharge of all conditions precedent and conditions subsequent in the contract, Preparing official correspondence including all invoicing processes, required internal and external business, operational, and compliance reports, budgets, and forecasts as needed, Coordinate activities between departments and stakeholders to ensure timely contract execution considering to maximize long term company profitability, Assist in conflict resolution on commercial and technical matters with the client, local partners and other stakeholders, Verify the validity and ongoing compliance of all business and plant operating permits and requirements, ensure compliance with all laws and regulations, Understanding the profitability of the projects and taking such required actions as to maintain and improve the profitability of the project.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS Minimum bachelor's degree in either an Engineering or Business related degree, Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience, Experience in the Power generation and LNG sector in a commercial management or business operations ideal, Excellent communication, negotiation & conflict management skills, The ability to understand financial data at contract level and identify appropriate actions indicated by variances to ensure key metrics are achieved, Good influencing, interpersonal and networking skills to drive collaborative culture at all level, Strong critical thinking and effective problem-solving skills, Financial understanding and business mindset, Keen and effective team player, Fluent in oral and written English, Top tier excel and powerpoint skills.
