Assistant Accountant £35,000 Antrim Permanent Full Time The Company Hayward Hawk is delighted to be partnered with an expanding firm in Antrim.
As assistant accountant you will oversee the accounts function, producing up to management accounts until the point of sign off.

There will be a full handover and support for the first 6+ months to ensure a smooth transition.
There are several entities in the group, so the work is varied and challenging.

Assist with VAT returns Provide accounting support to other departments.
Help prepare monthly and year-end financial statements for the company and its subsidiaries, working with different entities and currencies.
Prepare journal entries and reconcile bank accounts monthly.
Support the month-end and year-end close, including accounting entries, accruals, prepayments, reconciliations, asset depreciation, and document checks Prepare and deliver accurate monthly management accounts, ensuring completion and readiness for senior review and sign-off within established deadlines.
What Youll Need Either experience working at this level as an assistant accountant or have experience working as an accounts assistant with IATI or part qualified in CIMA or ACCA.
