Asset And Configuration Manager (Permanent)

IT Asset & CMDB Manager Permanent Location: Hybrid (Durham based + Home) Salary: £38 - 41K (+ excellent benefits including 28% pension contributions) Asset Management, CMDB administration, ITILv4 Our client is a UK Government organisation with an excellent work / life balance culture and opportunities for long-term career development.
Be responsible for ensuring all IT assets and configuration information, (from multiple suppliers), is accurately stored and maintained in one central location.
Manage the lifecycle of IT assets, (cloud components, hardware, software, licences and warranties etc.)
Taking into account asset usage, disposal, compliance, inventory, sustainability, cost optimisation and protection of the IT asset portfolio.
2+ years' experience in an IT asset management and CMDB administration role ~ Familiar with an asset management tool and CMDB platform such as ServiceNow ~ String understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud and software components would be ideal ~ Qualifications in IT, (Computer Science Degree or similar) and Certifications in ITIL and IT Asset Management ideal
