Based primarily in Scotland, this hybrid role offers the flexibility of working from home while engaging in hands-on, on-site work with our clients across the region.

Job description Location: Hybrid.
Mostly home based with monthly visits to our offices in Dunfermline, central Scotland and visits across Scotland to client sites as and when required.
Salary range : £35,000 – £40,000 dependent on experience Preference: Candidates based in Scotland/Central Belt as travel to local client sites is required.

We're looking for a passionate and Field Application Support Engineer ideally with 2-3 years experience to join our dynamic team.
Role Overview: The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementation of our Connected Intelligent Infrastructure Monitoring system (CiiM) product, supporting onsite installations and monitoring performance.
You'll contribute to the development and testing of the product and play a key role in helping establish best practices within our engineering team.
Key Responsibilities: On site implementations of CiiM, including short term data captures at CiiM sites Monitoring performance of the CiiM estate including responding to incidents.
Contribute to the development and testing of CiiM in support of our Software and Machine Learning Engineers.
Support and maintain existing software applications.
Help embed engineering best practices Build test datasets for training models.
Required Skills and Experience: Proven experience in development using technologies such as JavaScript, Python, and Docker.
Experience developing applications using public cloud services, with a strong preference for AWS.
Experience of or a demonstrable interest in data including visualisations.
Comfortable and effective working independently.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to contribute to and build the Digiflec culture.
Desired Skills: Exposure to LiDAR, point cloud, or mapping data.
A demonstrable interest in ML/AI.
Qualifications: 2-3 years Development experience in the workplace post university, college or Codeclan type environment.
