This is a fixed term opportunity for 2 years.What you will do:This is a fantastic opportunity to earn while you learn in a Technical Apprenticeship leading to a career as a Pharmacy Technician.
You will study, train and work as a Pre-registration Trainee Pharmacy Technician across NHS Ayrshire & Arran with rotational placements in general practice and hospital pharmacy.
Duties include: Dispensing medications, dealing with pharmaceutical queries, medicines reconciliation, and final accuracy checking, undertaking medication reviews, ordering pharmaceutical stock and preparing aseptic products.
You will be required to work through a structured training programme towards achieving the SVQ Pharmacy Services qualification at SCQF Level 8 and PDA Pharmacy Services SCQF Level 7 to meet the General Pharmaceutical Council's initial education and training requirements.
In accordance with AFC terms and conditions you may be required to work over 7 days and or an extended working day.
Driving license is essential for above posts.
Hours: 37 hours per week.
