A leading Further Education College in the North West is looking for an enthusiastic Animal Studies Technician to support their animal care department.
If you're someone who thrives on working hands-on with a variety of animals and enjoys supporting educational environments, this role could be your next big leap (or hop)!
Key Responsibilities: Provide daily care for a wide range of animals, ensuring they're in tip-top shape - because happy animals make for happy students!
Assist lecturers during practical lessons and help prepare materials to make classes a howling success.
Maintain animal enclosures and facilities to the highest standards - no monkeying around when it comes to cleanliness and safety.
Support students during practical sessions, ensuring they learn the ropes without any hitches or glitches.
Monitor animal health and report any concerns promptly to keep things running smoothly.
What We're Looking For: Experience working with a variety of animals in a care or educational setting - the more tails you've tended, the better!
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail (so no detail is left un-chewed).
A commitment to maintaining high standards of animal welfare and care.
The ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively - a real pack mentality.
