Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Agricultural Straights Trader to join our growing team at the head office. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of agricultural commodities, proven experience in trading, and excellent negotiation skills. This role requires an individual who can identify market trends, build relationships with suppliers and customers, and contribute to the overall success of our trading operations.
Key Responsibilities: Execute and manage trades of agricultural commodities in the UK market. Analyse market data and trends to make informed trading decisions. Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, producers, and customers. Negotiate contracts and prices to ensure competitive profitability. Monitor market conditions and adjust trading strategies accordingly. Maintain accurate records of trades, client interactions, and market assessments. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless supply chain operations. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Business, Finance, or a related field. Proven experience in trading agricultural commodities. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in market analysis. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in relevant trading software and Microsoft Office Suite.
