Job summary We are looking for enthusiastic, compassionate AdvancedPractitioners who can be from a Nursing or Paramedic background that haveexperience in Primary and/or Urgent care and are educated to an advanced levelof practice with the ability to work autonomously.
Main duties of the job Successful applicant will be able to manage acute illnessand minor ailments.
They will refer independently as appropriate, arrange andinterpret investigations.
They will be able to understand complex situationsand use a range of skills to decide the best course of action.

Job description Job responsibilities Able to understand highly complex situations /information , working with patients with acute, non-acute and chronicillnesses and using a range of skills to decide the best course of action froma range of options and consider the implications of each of theseBe able to manage clinical uncertaintyBe able to manage conflictWillingness to undergo education and trainingWillingness to work towards professional and performanceMinimum 3 years NP experienceTelephone triageAble to manage acute illness, long term conditions andminor ailments for all ages from birth onwards.Refer patients independently as appropriateArrange and interpret appropriate investigationsHigh level of clinical skills and competency relevant tothe role Person Specification Experience Essential 3 years Nurse Practitioner experience, Time management and flexibility, Provide training to other staff.
Qualifications Essential RGN/RN MSc Nursing Extended and supplementary prescribing Minimum 3 years NP experience Telephone triage Refer patients independently High level of clinical skills Desirable Family planning certificate Diabetes certificate Pediatric clinical skills
