Main duties of the jobAs a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will have clinical responsibility for patients, including multidisciplinary ward rounds, risk reviews, and the development of a therapeutic milieu.
You will also fulfill the role of Responsible Clinician for patients detained under the Mental Health Act and contribute to the management and clinical governance of the hospital's services.
Additionally, you will offer a psychiatric perspective to the multidisciplinary team, contribute to training programs, and maintain your CPD and revalidation requirements.

As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you would join a passionate team who are keen to continue to drive and deliver the highest quality of care for the patients they support.
As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure that clients receive a holistic and person-centric care and treatment programme based on the recovery model.
You will also be expected to support providing high-quality clinical care for the services of the hospital.

Person SpecificationQualificationsYou will be medically qualified, with MRC Psych or equivalent, and have previous Consultant experience in a management role.
