Join us in Shaping the Future of Property Management in Bath & North East Somerset We are seeking an experienced Administrator to support our property estates team.
This role offers a unique opportunity to make a real impact.
About the Role As an administrator, you'll be instrumental in ensuring the financial integrity and operational success.
Your work will directly support the Council's ability to deliver vital services and meet its strategic objectives.
You will be responsible for: Financial Oversight: Oversee all financial transactions for the team Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as a primary point of contact for third parties, agency bodies, and internal teams System Management: Using the financial system (currently Agresso) Service Delivery : Help the team whenever possible to achieve results within set timelines and budgets Property Inspections : Perform property inspections when needed Performance Reporting : Collect, analyse, and present data on property performance to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
Financial Processing: Accurately manage purchase orders, invoices, journals, and other financial transactions to ensure timely and efficient processing.
About You You will have a strong administration background and proven business support experience in supporting a busy property team.
Ideally you will have worked in property management or a similar role, preferably within a local authority but this is not essential.
You will have proven experience in working in financial systems and an understanding of financial reporting processes.
You will have experience in evaluating and presenting financial and performance data.
You will have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
You will be highly motivated, capable of working independently and collaboratively.
