Job summary The Limes Medical Centre is a busy and friendly GP practice dedicated to providing high-quality healthcare to our community.
We are seeking a diligent and motivated administrator to join our team and help ensure the smooth operation of our practice.The role is offered on a part time basis, for 30 hours per week Monday-Friday, based mainly at the Epping branch (however, you may be required to work at other sites) .
The working shift pattern is as follows: Monday 08:00-18:00 Wednesday 13:00-18:00 Thursday 08:00-14:00 Friday 08:00-18:00We would welcome applications from organised, adaptable and friendly individuals who are keen to help us provide high levels of customer service.
Main duties of the job Entering data and read coding of relevant patient information and medical data into the clinical system.
Scanning patient information into computerised records, including medical documents, hospital records and letters, as necessary.
Allocating workflow for review by doctors or other health professionals.
Processing practice post and emails.
Covering reception, as and when required.
Handling enquiries efficiently.
Performing general office duties, including filing, scanning and data entry.
Contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the practice.There may be other ad-hoc duties required; however full training will be given.

Person Specification Experience Essential An experienced administrator, with excellent IT, time management and organisational skills.
Ability to communicate effectively, working in a confidential and discreet manner.
Ability to multi-task, work efficiently and maintain a high level of attention to detail, when under pressure.
Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, as well as independently.
A compassionate and patient- focused approach.
Some flexibility is required as you will sometimes need to work additional or alternative hours to cover for colleagues.
Desirable Primary care experience is desirable but not essential.
Qualifications Essential Maths and English GCSE- C and above
