This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to progress their career within the Company and to be an integral part of a team that delivers the contractual services of the Cornwall Council – "Waste and Recycling Collection, Street and Public Open Space Cleansing Services Contract" to a consistently high standard.  Why it's an opportunity not to be wasted.
Daily inputs: Timesheets Vehicle Information Waste Transfer notes Vehicle Waste disposal tickets Weekly Inputs: Management of files Managing Vehicle Downtime Spreadsheet Issue Purchase order numbers to suppliers/ 3'd parties Note taking for any Staff disciplinary meetings Other Duties to include: Vehicle folder management Vehicle administration for OM prior to Audits Workshop Liaison for Vehicle Downtime management Answering work phones - taking messages Answering Emails for Operational Staff General Administration duties.
Here's what we require: Proven experience in an administration role for at least 12 months.
Excellent customer service and organisational skills.
Ability to delegate, train, lead and monitor teams, whilst also being a team player.
Strong IT systems skills and the ability to use MS Office, Mobile devices and Tablets.
Ability to deal with conflict and negotiate/manage the appropriate outcome.
Analytical with the ability to measure and monitor data and take appropriate corrective action.
Able to communicate at all levels, both in verbal & written form.
