Radiology is a busy department providing X-Ray, CT, MRI,Fluoroscopy and Ultrasound services.
We provide 24/7 diagnostic services to therest of the hospital using both specific Radiology IT packages alongside Trustwidesystems to provide integrated care.
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic,experienced Admin Assistant to join our friendly team based withinRadiology.
The succesful candidate should provide consistentlyoutstanding care and exemplary service to our patients and visitors, arrangeappointments, liaise with all involved in the Imaging process to ensure thebest service for our Patients.Ideally you should possess excellent communication,organisational and investigative skills and have a flexible approach to taskswith experience working in a busy office environment.
In addition experience working within the NHSwould be advantageous.
Main duties of the job We are looking for candidates with excellent interpersonalskills, dedication and the confidence to deal with a wide range of matters withtact and diplomacy.
Patient administration experience, experience in workingwith people and the ability to adapt to change while managing and prioritisinga heavy workload, in a fast developing environment is essential.Working as part of an efficient team processing informationon the radiology CRIS system, liaising with clinical colleagues to triagereferrals and ensuring Trust waiting times are met, paying meticulous attentionto detail.We are looking for an organised and flexible person whoenjoys working individually but also as part of a wider team.
Main duties of this role include; bookingRadiology appointments, reception cover, communicating with patients and staff,undertaking IT system based work, linking in with patient transport servicesand general administrative duties.

Desirable Previous experience working within the NHS and/or a Radiology Department would be beneficial.
