JOB- Acoustic Design Engineer LOCATION- Aylesford, Kent TERM- Permanent SALARY- £40,000 to £55,000 per annum (plus benefits) Premier Engineering is seeking an Acoustic Design Engineer to join an innovative and growing team.
This role involves designing, modeling, and testing acoustic solutions for various applications, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.
The Acoustic Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes: A degree in Acoustics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field Proven experience in acoustic design and analysis within industries such as automotive, aerospace, construction, or consumer products Strong understanding of acoustic principles, noise control, and vibration analysis Proficiency with acoustic simulation and measurement tools (e.g., MATLAB, COMSOL, EASE, or similar software) Familiarity with relevant standards and regulations (e.g., ISO, ANSI, or BS) Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong communication and collaboration abilities A passion for innovation and continuous improvement The Acoustic Design Engineer role will involve: Designing and developing acoustic solutions to meet project and customer requirements Conducting simulations, testing, and analysis to optimize acoustic performance Creating detailed technical documentation, including specifications and reports Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and testing departments Ensuring designs comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements Participating in product development from concept to final implementation Staying up to date with advancements in acoustic technologies and methodologies Supporting research and development initiatives to drive innovation If you are an experienced Acoustic Design Engineer eager to work on challenging and rewarding projects, please apply with an up-to-date CV as soon as possible, including your availability and salary expectations.
