Facilities Manager - Property Bristol Are you a skilled Facilities Manager / M&E Consultant with experience in the property industry?
Look no further, because we are looking for a Facilities Manager / M&E Consultant to join our dynamic team at our commercial property consultancy in Bristol!
At our consultancy, we pride ourselves in providing expert advice to commercial landlords and tenants on a wide range of property matters.
We are a growing company with a strong reputation in the industry and we are seeking a highly skilled individual to join our team.
As a Facilities Manager/M&E Consultant, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of commercial properties in the Bristol area.
Your main responsibilities will include conducting surveys, assessing costs, obtaining sub-contractor quotes, managing maintenance contracts, and overseeing all projects related to our clients' properties.
To be successful in this role, you must have a strong background industry and possess excellent project management skills.
You should also have a good understanding of property maintenance and be able to conduct defect diagnosis.
A good eye for detail and strong problem-solving skills are also important qualities we are looking for in our ideal candidate.
As an essential member of our team, your main responsibilities will include the following: - Conducting surveys of commercial properties to assess their maintenance needs and provide cost estimates.
- Gathering and analysing sub-contractor quotes to ensure our clients receive the best services at the best prices.
- Managing all maintenance contracts and ensuring all work is carried out to a high standard and within the agreed budget.
- Overseeing all projects related to our clients' properties, including renovations, repairs, and maintenance works.
- Writing detailed reports for our clients, outlining any issues identified and recommending solutions.
- Conducting defect diagnosis and providing expert advice to clients on how to address any issues.
To be considered for this position, you must have the following qualifications: - A degree in mechanical or electrical discipline, Facilities Management, or a related field.
- Experience in facilities or property management, preferably in a commercial setting.
- Excellent project management skills and experience overseeing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of property maintenance and repairs, with the ability to conduct defect diagnosis.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to write detailed reports.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet in a fast-paced environment.
