Role - Accounts Senior Location – Rochdale Salary - £33,000 - £42,000 Benefits: Competitive salary Team socials and lunches Training opportunities and support with further qualifications if desired Increased annual leave after tenure Puro Accountancy are delighted to be supporting an Accountancy practice in Rochdale in their search for a full-time permanent Senior Accountant to join their friendly well-established team of accountancy professionals.
Responsibilities: Manage a portfolio of clients, delivering high-quality accounting and tax services.
Prepare and review annual accounts, tax computations, and VAT returns.
Provide financial advice and ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
Mentor and lead junior team members, offering training and support as necessary.
Assist with special projects and ad-hoc assignments, showcasing flexibility and adaptability.
Cultivate strong client relationships, identifying avenues for business growth and development.
Requirements: ACCA or ACA qualified (Nearing Qualification or QBE will be considered) Will need ideally at least 3+ years within a UK accountancy firm.
Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting.
