Accounts Payable Assistant

An exciting new role has arisen for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join a fast-growing FMCG company based in London.

Responsibilities: Assistant Accounts Payable will be pivotal to ensuring the smooth running of the accounts payable function for the UK business.
Assist the Senior Accounts Assistant with the Non-stock part of AP.
Dealing with the manual cash expenses, maintenance and overhead invoices.
Create new vendors on Nav & Concur.
Monitor manual expense mail box, chase approvals, answer queries, process and post all expenses.
Request approvals and post overhead invoices.
Post maintenance invoices once approved, raise queries and request credit notes.
Update urgent payment spreadsheet.
Request statements and reconcile 60 vendors' accounts.
Prepare accrual of unposted invoices.
Monitor AP mail box, post all overhead invoices when senior AP is on holiday.
Requirements: Accuracy and organisational skills.
Excel skills.
Experience of working within a multi-site organisation would be advantageous.
Strong communication skills and an ability to manage key relationships both internally and with external partners.
Positive can-do attitude and takes pride and ownership of their work.
