Accounts Payable Assistant - 3 Month Contract, Starts January

Job Purpose As the Accounts Payable Assistant you will support the Accounts Payable Manager with accounts payable and administration duties within the finance department.
This role requires high energy levels, the ability to collaborate and to work effectively individually, and to work across various GPJ teams.
The role will support the Accounts Payable function during the busiest period of the year (Oct – March) while a large volume of events are occurring, including the two largest annual events for GPJ.

About you You have:
Experience of working in an Accounts Payable type role previously Good Excel skills, with the willingness/ability to learn other relevant IT systems Strong attention to detail, able to manage information from multiple sources while ensuring accuracy in output The ability to work independently with minimal supervision at times, whilst also being able to collaborate with others as required An inquisitive mindset such that you enjoy investigating and resolving problems A logical approach to work, combined with numeracy, analytical and problem-solving skills Good organisational, prioritisation and time management skills - the ability to work calmly and methodically under pressure to tight deadlines Good oral and written communication skills such that you can communicate with clarity and conviction tailored to different situations Key Responsibilities Payables:
Support Accounts Payable Manager with processing payables, including fulfilling ad hoc duties as required and as time allows Monitor Finance inbox and ensure all queries are responded to in a timely manner Review invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment Reconcile Credit Card Expenses Ad hoc:
Other ad hoc duties as necessary and where time allows
