We are looking for someone who is an Assistant Manager looking for the next step up to a Manager, or someone who is currently an Accounts Manager looking to join a well-established top 15 firm.

Here is a very brief snapshot: Working with a mix of sole traders, partnerships, limited companies, limited liability partnerships, trusts and smaller private charities.
Supervising the preparation of year-end financial statements Financial management Building and maintaining client relationships Assisting in the coaching and development of junior team members Ad-hoc advisory projects Experience of preparing year end accounts using accounts production software such as CCH or an equivalent is also required This is a client facing, fast paced role which includes advisory elements and often deals with high-net worth clients.

What are the essentials for this role?
ACA/ACCA Qualified and several years' experience of working in practice.
Strong numeracy and analytical skills A good knowledge of Excel and Word is essential Understanding of other accounting systems Self-motivated and pro-active and able to work autonomously Eagerness to learn, work hard and be a collaborative team member' About Spencer Clarke Group: Within the Accountancy & Finance division we work across the whole of the UK and cover Practice, Public and Industry alike with Permanent, Interim or contract positions.
