Accounts Assistant

A fast-paced and busy company based in St Albans are looking for an experienced accounts assistant to join their team.
You will have a solid Finance background and bring with you drive and energy to work within a varied and busy team.
Car drivers are required for this role due to the location of the office.
What's in it for you: * Salary: Up to £38k depending on experience * Health insurance * Pension * Dynamic company * Friendly and busy company Key responsibilities: * Responsible for the day-to-day tasks within the finance department * Processing invoices, purchase orders, and expenses * Recording financial transactions in accounting systems * Maintaining accounts payable and receivable ledgers * Reconciling bank statements with company accounts * Supporting the monitoring of budgets and forecasting expenditure * Identifying and reporting budget discrepancies What the employer is looking for: 3-5 years+ experience in an accounts or finance role Degree educated Experience of working with Sage 50 Accounts Able to work in a fast paced and busy environment Able work with people at all levels Proactive and able to work on your own initiative Highly numerate and organised Please note due to the number of applications we often receive; only shortlisted applicants will be contacted
