Join Our Team as an Accounts Receivable Administrator at Powercargo!
About Powercargo Powercargo is a rapidly expanding global logistics provider, dedicated to helping businesses optimize their supply chains.
We specialize in sea, air, road, and rail freight management, warehousing logistics, customs brokerage, and e-commerce logistics.
As we continue to grow, we're seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Administrator to support our finance team remotely.
The Role This is a fully remote, home-based position where all necessary office equipment is provided by Powercargo.
We're looking for a candidate with a strong background in logistics or freight forwarding and proven experience using CargoWise One software.
Please Note: To be considered, candidates must have CargoWise One experience and a strong background in the logistics/freight forwarding industry.
Key Responsibilities Generate daily sales invoices with precision.
Manage Accounts Receivable (A/R) activities, including credit control and overseeing aged debtors.
Collaborate on outstanding invoice collections and optimize A/R processes.
Address general account queries and manage customer inquiries.
Ensure accurate data entry and maintain meticulous records.
Reconcile bank transactions and monitor incoming payments.
Match customer invoices to shipments for seamless reconciliation.
Oversee and enhance the company's A/R systems.
Work closely with internal teams to ensure timely invoicing and smooth account operations.
Assist with process improvements within the A/R function.
Monitor shared inboxes for customer communications.
Support ad-hoc projects as needed.
Skills and Expertise Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving abilities.
High attention to detail, especially in Accounts Receivable functions.
Proven Accounts Receivable experience in the logistics or freight forwarding industry is essential.
Proficiency in CargoWise One software is a strict requirement.
Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
Adaptability, quick learning, and a positive, proactive approach.
Benefits & Position Details Salary: £28,000 per annum.
Location: Remote (home-based) with company-provided equipment.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00.
Holidays: 23 days of annual leave plus English bank holidays.
Start Date: Immediate availability preferred.
