Accounting Associate (Covering Management/Financial Accounting And Fp&A) - Boutique Hedge Fund - Competitive Base & Bonus

Mondrian Alpha have partnered with a dynamic, high-growth hedge fund seeking a newly qualified accountant to cover management / financial accounting and FP&A duties.

This is a great opportunity to step into a highly progressive role with oversight across the whole fund.
The firm is currently very lean but looking to double in size over the next 18 months.
This will report directly into the COO and work with outsourced accountants for the ManCo accounts.
In the role you will be responsible for monthly and quarterly reports and preparing annual financial statements as well as ongoing development of budgets/forecasts to support strategic business planning.
Being a lean team, you shall be hands on with more granular bookkeeping duties and review expenses prepared externally as well as post invoices when necessary.

For this we are seeking academically strong, qualified accountants who have exposure to the financial services sector (candidates should have experience in-house within an investment firm or doing accounts preparation as an outsourced provider).
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

The firm offers a highly competitive salary (£65k - £80k, depending on experience) with generous bonuses (with most of the finance team earning over 50% of their base), along with a comprehensive benefits package.
