Job DescriptionReporting into the Finance Manager this is a key role to support the Transitional Service Agreement (TSA) period, this is a result of the combination with Informa Tech Target You will be a high performing individual that embraces and drives change management processes whilst showing effective collaboration with your team and business counterparties.
You will also ensure that all policies are adhered to and that specific duties are carried out within set time limits whilst providing an excellent level of service to all Informa customers and colleagues.Key ResponsibilitiesThe 'Wrong Pocket' accountant is required to manage cash transactions throughout the TSA period and be a core liaison with the counterparty.Work closely with O2C/P2P to ensure all relevant reconciliations are performed/ [provided.Consolidation of regional reconciliations into single global reconciliation.Financial Reporting and Analysis including, budget/forecasting, working capital, Group Finance reporting, supplementary packs and ad-hoc requests.Perform relevant balance sheet reconciliations.Ensure communications are handled between the SSC, Group finance and the Business TeamsAnalyse and solve Ad hoc problems related to the TSA using knowledge of business and systems.Process any related intercompany transactions related to the TSA.Tax & Compliance duties as required.QualificationsQualifications & Experience Strong academic background, accounting degree preferableAt the latter stages of qualification or ideally newly qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)Good working knowledge and understanding of SSC processes and how these fit into the wider environment.Good understanding of all R2R processes including best practice in R2R, people, processes and technologyAbility to manage owe deadline and priorities, whilst delivering a high standard of work and supporting junior members when they require assistance.
