Credit Controller

Credit Controller to a small, busy and personable team, this position is paying an annual salary of £40,000.
Working hours are Monday - Friday, 9.00am - 5.00pm.
We are looking for a Credit controller , for a construction-based company.
Duties: Check credit reports on potential and existing accounts Report on age of debt Regularly review and update existing credit limits and payment terms offered Ensure customer payments are received in accordance with account terms Chase overdue accounts via telephone, email and letter Check and code BACS remittance advices received Bookkeeping Reconcile customer accounts Maintain accurate customer contact details Review and forward monthly statements Liaise with internal and external parties to resolve outstanding invoice issues Begin the process of legal proceedings and repossession of goods Any other ad hoc duties required Benefits: £40,000 per annum 28 days holiday Pension Experience required: Qualification in AAT Level 2 of 3 Bookkeeping Multilingual - German speaking would be advantageous Strong attention to detail Ability to organise a busy and varied workload, remain calm under pressure, and proactive in approach to tasks PC literate with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook skills Please bear in mind that you may not hear from us straight away.
