Total Wellbeing Luton isan integrated Talking therapies service combining healthylifestyles and emotional health programmes provided in partnershipwith Active Luton and we are looking for qualified High IntensityCBT Therapists to join the team.
Theservice in Luton provides person-centred, holistic and accessiblewellbeing services which are flexible and creative, easy to accessand navigate and responsive to the needs of local people.
Theservice contributes to tackling inequalities in health throughpromoting and supporting people to develop healthier behaviours andlifestyles in the context of their own local communities.In addition to talking therapies, we offer healthylifestyle programmes including NHS stop smoking, health checks, andexercise on referral, social prescription, weight management andsupport with physical activity for people with long term healthconditions.
As well as supporting the communitywith improving their physical and emotional heath, we alsoprioritise our staff wellbeing.
We're based at Active Lutongyms and community centres, which all staff can access and usefreely.
We offer a £1,200 joiningbonus.
This is a hybrid role - you need tobe at the service 2/3 days per week.
RoleResponsibility Whether you are an experiencedCBT Therapist or you are newly qualified, you will be joiningTotal Wellbeing Luton which is a highly regarded and experiencednational provider of IAPT service on behalf of the NHS.
As a keymember of the team, you will be working closely with our clinicalteam to maintain our high standard and help us to develop thisfurther.
As a CBT Therapist you'll be managingyour own caseload providing evidence based treatments.
We offer ahigh standard of in house clinical supervision and training withBABCP accredited supervisors.
We offer regular masterclasses toupskill our therapists and support their career development as wellas opportunities to access additional modality training.We provide excellent opportunities for development in thisrole through access to training around areas of specialism such assupervision, long-term conditions, cultural diversity etc.
You willwork with your supervisor and line manager to make sure developmentand CPD plans are in place for your ongoing growth.
There are alsomany opportunities for career progression into areas of leadershipor further clinical training.

The IdealCandidate You will need to hold a qualificationin Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (Postgraduate diploma inHICBT (IAPT) qualification) and have BABCP accreditation or beeligible and working towards this.
Ideally weare looking to recruit a CBT Therapist who has also completedEMDR modality.
Alongside extensiveexperience of working within Mental Health, you'll have a provenability to develop good therapeutic relationships with clients andworking relationships with your colleagues.
