Total Wellbeing Luton isan integrated Talking therapies service combining healthylifestyles and emotional health programmes provided in partnershipwith Active Luton and we are looking for a qualified Dual TrainedCBT Therapist to join the team.
The service inLuton provides person-centred, holistic and accessible wellbeingservices which are flexible and creative, easy to access andnavigate and responsive to the needs of local people.
The servicecontributes to tackling inequalities in health through promotingand supporting people to develop healthier behaviours andlifestyles in the context of their own local communities.In addition to talking therapies, we offer healthylifestyle programmes including NHS stop smoking, health checks, andexercise on referral, social prescription, weight management andsupport with physical activity for people with long term healthconditions.
As well as supporting the communitywith improving their physical and emotional heath, we alsoprioritise our staff wellbeing.
We're based at Active Lutongyms and community centres, which all staff can access and usefreely.
We offer a £1,200 joiningbonus.
This is a hybrid role - acombination of service based and home working.
Role Responsibility You will bejoining Total Wellbeing Luton which is a highly regarded andexperienced national provider of Talking Therapies service onbehalf of the NHS.
As a key member of the team, you will be workingclosely with our clinical team to maintain our high standard andhelp us to develop this further.
We supportpeople in the local area who are having difficulty in coping andwho may be suffering from a common mental illness such asdepression, anxiety or phobias.
Our approach embeds the notion ofwell–being and recovery and promotes personal responsibility forlifestyle choices and self–management of mental well–being.
For ourclients, this has resulted in a highly accessible and user–friendlyservice available across a wide geographical area.As an High Intensity CBT Therapist you'll be managing yourown caseload providing evidence based treatments.
You will provideassessments and evidence based high intensityinterventions and you will provide therapy to clients withmoderate to severe depression.
We offer a high standard of in houseclinical supervision and training with accredited supervisors.
Weoffer regular masterclasses to upskill our therapists and supporttheir career development as well as opportunities to accessadditional modality training.
We provideexcellent opportunities for development in this role through accessto training around areas of specialism such as supervision,long-term conditions, cultural diversity etc.
You will workwith your supervisor and line manager to make sure development andCPD plans are in place for your ongoing growth.
There are also manyopportunities for career progression into areas of leadership orfurther clinical training.
The IdealCandidate We are looking to recruit a CBTTherapist who has also completed EMDR modality.You will need to have experience of working withinMental Health.
You'll have a proven ability to develop goodtherapeutic relationships with clients and working relationshipswith your colleagues.

Theservice operates across a variety of days and hours to includeSaturdays and evening work to support our clients when they need itmost, therefore we offer flexible working hours to promote apositive work life balance for our staff.
We pay incentivised ratesof pay for weekend working and additional hours.
