Job Title: 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant Location: East of England, Essex, Grays Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £83.85 - £85 Per day Benefits: +£50 referral fee Job Description: Job Duties: Provide 1:1 support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a classroom setting Assist with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies Support the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities to meet the needs of SEN students Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students Required Qualifications: GCSEs in English and Maths Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification Experience working with children or young people with SEN Education: Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths Experience: Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN is required Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of SEN and different learning needs Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Preferred Qualifications: Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification Additional training in safeguarding and behaviour management Working Conditions: Work in a school environment Full-time hours, temporary position Opportunity for professional development and training All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
