Completely Care are recruiting Youth Worker's for full-time permanent positions.
The role aims to support vulnerable young people living in independent accommodation and assists them with the challenges of life, building their confidence and resilience.About Us:Our client is a community-focused organisation dedicated to providing support and guidance to young people facing various life challenges.
Their goal is to empower these individuals to achieve their full potential, fostering a sense of independence, self-esteem, and community connection.The Role:As a Youth Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing support, mentorship, and advocacy to young people aged who are living in independent living environments.
Your responsibilities will include:Developing and maintaining supportive relationships with young people, offering guidance and mentorship.Assisting in the development of life skills, such as budgeting, cooking, and personal care.Planning and facilitating group activities and workshops that promote social skills, community engagement, and personal development.Conducting regular check-ins and assessments to monitor the well-being and progress of the young people.Collaborating with other professionals and agencies to ensure a comprehensive support network.Providing crisis intervention and support as needed.Documenting and reporting on the progress and challenges of the young people under your care.Requirements:Proven experience working with vulnerable young people, particularly in independent living settings is useful but not essential.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with young people.Knowledge of issues facing vulnerable young people, including mental health, substance abuse, and social disadvantage.Ability to work flexibly, full time hours including on callsA current driver's license and access to a vehicle.Please send your cv to or apply to To apply for this job email your details to .
