We're seeking dedicated Support Workers to join our team.
You'll work closely with clients facing a range of challenges, including homelessness, substance misuse, mental health issues, and trauma.
\n \n Young Persons Support Worker \n Location: Newport \n Hours: Full-time Temporary hours available (37.5 hours per week) \n Salary: £12.82 - £14.00 per hour inclusive of holiday pay \n \n What you'll do: \n \n Empower clients: Provide tailored support to help individuals overcome obstacles and achieve their goals.
\n Build relationships: Foster strong connections with clients and local agencies to create a supportive network.
\n Work autonomously: Manage your own caseload and schedule, working both remotely and in the community.
\n Develop your skills: Gain expertise in areas like trauma-informed care, substance misuse, and housing law.
\n \n What we're looking for: \n \n Empathy and understanding: A genuine desire to help others and a non-judgmental approach.
\n Resilience and adaptability: The ability to navigate challenges and find creative solutions.
\n Strong communication skills: The capacity to build rapport and work effectively with diverse individuals.
\n A can-do attitude: A proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
\n Relevant experience: Previous experience in support work or housing is preferred.
