Responsibilities of a Year 6 Teacher: Guide and support children through their first steps in KS2, creating a positive, engaging learning environment.
Deliver the KS2 curriculum, focusing on the individual needs of each child, helping them build on strengths and overcome challenges.
Focus on further developing maths skills, including fractions, statistics, and geometry.
Monitor and track children's progress, providing updates to parents as needed.
Year 6 Teacher Requirements: QTS, PGCE, and a strong academic record.
Creative, adaptable, and passionate about teaching.
A proven track record of success in a Year 6 setting.
Excellent communication skills to inspire both children and parents.
