Year 5 Class Teacher Special school ASD students January start Full-time/Long-term Year 5 class Full teaching responsibilities We're working on behalf of a brilliant special school that look after students with ASD from ages 6-16 and they are looking for a full-time teacher from January.
They are based on beautiful grounds and have gone from strength to strength over the last few years, growing in size consistently.
The school are incredibly proud of the support they provide ASD students across the school, providing individualised support across the age groups.
The role This vacancy is in a wonderful year 5 class where you will be expected to lead a class of 8 Year 5 students.
You would be following the Primary teaching model and be expected to mark and plan your own lessons (adequate PPA time provided).
You will be ably supported by 2 full-time TA's who know the students well having both been there all term.
You must have experience working with ASD students and would preferably hold a QTS.
