GSL Education is looking for a passionate, skilled, and dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join our team ASAP for an upcoming, long-term Teaching opportunity within one of our client primary schools. Key Responsibilities: Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging lessons tailored to meet the needs of all students, helping them to achieve their full potential.
Effectively mark and assess students' work to track progress and provide constructive feedback.
Lead and manage the day-to-day activities of the class, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment both on-site and during off-site activities.
Foster and promote the ethos and educational values of the school in all professional interactions.
Contribute to the ongoing development and implementation of the school curriculum.
About You: We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic teacher with: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): A degree or equivalent teaching qualification is essential.
Primary Classroom Experience: Proven success working within a Primary school setting, with a solid understanding of the developmental needs of Year 5 or KS2 students.
Curriculum Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of the National Curriculum and how to adapt it to meet diverse learning needs.
Assessment Expertise: Strong skills in monitoring and assessing student progress to drive achievement.
Safeguarding Awareness: A thorough understanding of safeguarding policies and practices to ensure students' well-being.
ICT Proficiency: A creative approach to using technology to enhance teaching and learning.
Professional Development: Evidence of a commitment to ongoing professional growth and training.
