Amo Education Ltd is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 4 Teaching Assistant to join a friendly school in Wakefield.
This role is an ASAP start, with the potential to be a long term role of the right candidate.
Your primary responsibility will be to assist the classroom teacher in delivering engaging lessons tailored to the unique needs of the Year 4 pupils.
You will work closely with individual students as well as small groups, providing additional support in their learning journey.
This position requires a proactive individual who is passionate about education and committed to fostering a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a compassionate attitude, and the ability to motivate and inspire young learners.

Responsibilities Assist the classroom teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons for Year 4 students.
Support students with their learning, providing one-on-one assistance as needed.
Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student participation.
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the teacher.
Prepare classroom materials and resources for lessons and activities.
Assist in managing classroom behaviour and supporting students during transitions.
Participate in school meetings and contribute to the overall school community.
Requirements Previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students.
A genuine passion for children's education and development.
Patience, empathy, and the ability to motivate young learners.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
A commitment to creating a safe and supportive learning environment.
