The Role: We are seeking a motivated and skilled Year 3 Teaching Assistant to support our teachers in delivering high-quality education to our Year 3 children.
You will need to have a solid understanding of the National Curriculum, excellent interpersonal skills, and a passion for helping children thrive in their academic and personal development.
As a Year 3 Teaching Assistant, you will: Provide 1:1 and small group support for students, both inside and outside the classroom.
Assist with the delivery of lessons and activities, ensuring they are engaging and accessible to all learners.
Help with classroom management, creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Support students with additional needs, differentiating tasks as necessary.
Assist with the preparation and organization of teaching materials and resources.
Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to the class teacher.
Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure a cohesive and effective learning experience.
About You: To be successful in this role, you should have: Experience working as a Teaching Assistant, ideally in Key Stage 2 (Year 3).
A good understanding of the Year 3 curriculum, including English, Mathematics, and Science.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
The ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
A proactive and flexible approach to supporting children's learning.
A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (e.g.
Level 2 or Level 3) is desirable, but not essential.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
