Job Title : Fully Qualified Teacher (Year 2) Location : Luton Start Date : After February Half-Term (or earlier, if possible) Salary : Paid to Scale Contract : Full-Time, Fixed-Term (or Permanent, depending on the candidate) We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Fully Qualified Teacher (FQT) to join our school team, teaching a Year 2 class.
Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons for Year 2 pupils, adhering to the national curriculum Mark and assess pupils' work regularly, providing constructive feedback to support learning and development Manage classroom behavior to maintain a positive and productive learning environment Collaborate with the wider school team to ensure consistent and high-quality learning experiences Regular communication with parents/carers regarding pupil progress and concerns Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events as required The Ideal Candidate: Must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (KS1), specifically Year 2 Strong classroom management skills Ability to plan, mark, and assess effectively Passionate about education and nurturing the development of young learners Excellent communication and interpersonal skills This is a full-time, paid-to-scale role with a supportive team and a focus on both your professional development and the children's success.
