Year 1/2 Teacher Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the diverse needs of Year 1/2 students.
Use a range of teaching strategies to inspire and motivate learners.
Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing regular feedback and setting goals for improvement.
Foster a positive classroom environment that promotes respect, inclusion, and good behaviour.
Collaborate with colleagues to create innovative curriculum plans and share best practices.
Communicate effectively with parents/guardians about student progress and address concerns as needed.
Participate actively in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.
Year 1/2 Teacher Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching Key Stage 1 students, preferably in a Year 1 or 2 class.
Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and effective assessment strategies.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
A commitment to inclusive teaching practices and differentiated instruction.
Enthusiasm for professional development and staying updated on innovative teaching methods.
