Yard Operative

With sites in Leeds and Durham, Premier Waste Recycling have the capability to cover West Yorkshire, South Yorkshire and the Northeast of England.Due to our commitment to exceptional customer service, we have quickly established ourselves as a partner of choice for several reputable clients in a wide range of sectors and industries.The Role:The position will be based at our site at Birtley, County Durham.Duties will include: Refurbishment of all types of trade waste containers, including replacing component parts, painting and placement of new decalsMaintain stocks of container parts, paints & decals to ensure future customer requirements can be metDelivery & collection of containers to and from customer sites as required.Loading and unloading of commercial bins ready for next day deliveriesMaintaining a tidy working yard environmentCarry out duties in accordance with company rules, always including Health & SafetyCompliance with the requirements of the company management system (MS), as appropriate, in the execution of your duties.
Key skills/experience:Applicants should ideally have/be Full current driving licence.Hardworking & Reliable.Able to work unsupervised.
Applicants must be reliable, trustworthy with good communication skills and a polite and professional manner.The ideal candidate to have a flexible approach to overtime working to meet our customers' requirements.
