X2 Cleaners (Domestic Assistants)

Harmeny Education Trust is a charitable organisation providing therapeutic care and education to children who have experienced early years trauma through abuse, neglect and family disruption, referred from all over Scotland.
We currently work with children and young people aged 5-18, both on a day and all-year-round residential basis.
We are looking for two Cleaning Operatives to join our Domestic team.
The positions are offered on a permanent basis (x1) and on a fixed-term basis (x1) for approximately 16 months.
The post-holders will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the organisation, including administrative/office buildings and residential cottages.
The successful applicants will be part of a small team working in a busy environment.
A commitment to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene and the ability to work in an organised manner are therefore key requirements for the role.
A strong customer focus and proven ability to communicate well and build productive relationships with people at all levels are essential.
The hours and pay for both roles are: Permanent: 20 hours per week (0.57 FTE), 7am 11am, Monday to Friday.
Pro-rata annual salary is £13,694 ( full-time equivalent salary is £23,965 per annum) / £13.17 per hour.
Fixed-term: 25 hours per week (0.71 FTE), 7am 12.30pm, Monday to Friday.
Pro-rata annual salary is £17,118 ( full-time equivalent salary is £23,965 per annum) / £13.17 per hour.
