Ensure correct parts are used from stock on system.
Maintain a safe, organised and well stocked workspace and mobile fitter pack containing all the equipment and tools required to carry out repairs Inspect all hire fleet tools for repair within 5 working days and provide repair estimates for Supervisor and Workshop Manager and arrange for manufacturer warrantee work to be carried out if applicable Review all estimated repairs with Workshop Manager to decide whether to go ahead, dispose of, or return equipment Proceed with approved repairs by ordering any parts required and recording all costs including time spent charged as labour.
Ensure correct parts are used from stock on system.
Carry out repair work to equipment and upon completion test the machine fully before supplying 'Ready for use' paperwork and identification.
Be prepared to attend to site breakdowns of fleet equipment within 4 hours of fault being reported.
Coordinate which items of equipment need to be scrapped and can be disposed of.
Be flexible and willing to assist any part of the operation Communicate and coordinate with internal departments.
Comply with all company procedures and policies including OH&S Software Knowledge and Level of Proficiency Good computer skills, including MS Word, Excel & Outlook Essential Selection Criteria Key needs that we have identified for the person responsible are as follows: Ability to work consistently under pressure Excellent attention to detail, highly organised and very good communication skills Good knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical.
Lifting, Hydraulic and Power Access tools is advantageous.
Full driving licence (desirable) Friendly and adaptable attitude Ability to multi-task and prioritise.

You are self- controlled and a systematic, logical thinker and will complete any job given.
