Company Overview: Loom Talent Limited have been exclusively appointed by a rapidly growing, well-known, in-house retailer in the Loughborough area, now in search for a Workshop Supervisor / Manager.
Our client operates in the materials space for multiple prestigious clients, they are committed to maintaining the highest standards of service, safety, and overall operational efficiency.
The successful candidate will work on a Monday to Friday (days) basis and be responsible for the bespoke item order along with heading up the company samples division.
Key Responsibilities: People-Centric Leadership : Lead and inspire a dedicated team to reach their full potential.
Your focus on the well-being and development of your staff will be the cornerstone of success whilst having a continuous improvement mindset.
Health & Safety: Uphold rigorous health and safety standards, fostering a culture of safety awareness throughout the manufacturing / workshop arm of the business.
Performance Metrics: Continue to evolve the organisational approach to KPI's, whilst ensuring existing and new site standardisation.
MRP & ERP Expertise: Utilise your experience with MRP and Business Systems to drive operational efficiency.
Familiarity with MRP & ERP implementations is a definite plus.
Customer & Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the seamless flow of goods from the warehouse to the end customer.
Key Candidate Requirements: Have a Engineering, Manufacturing or Production background - Essential.
Have a minimum of 3+ years' experience at a Workshop / Production Supervisor or Manager level - Essential.
Have managed teams beyond 5+ employees through managerial reports - Essential.
A working knowledge of MRP / ERP systems - Advantageous.
Exceptional people management and leadership skills - Essential.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities - Essential.
Commutable to Loughborough 5 x days per week - Essential.
Salary & Benefits Package: Salary - £35,000 - £45,000 (DOE).
