Job Description Workshop Fitter/Mechanic Location: Kilmarnock, Scotland Hourly rate: £15-16.50 dependent on experience Contract type: Permanent Working hours: Monday - Friday (40 hours) \n \n About the role \n We are seeking a skilled Workshop Fitter/Mechanic to join our team, responsible for maintaining, servicing and repairing our ground maintenance equipment, related vehicles & trailers.
This role is crucial in ensuring that all machinery operates efficiently and reliably to support our ongoing operations.

\n Requirements \n \n Desirable for candidates to have previous experience in a Grounds Maintenance setting, including the maintenance of lawnmowers / strimmers / blowers / hedge cutters / trailers & related fleet machinery.
\n possess strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills, with the ability to work independently.
\n Willingness to learn and work well in a team.
\n Excellent mechanical skills and an NVQ level 3 Mechanical qualification would be advantageous.
\n A full valid UK driving licence.
