Workshop Fitter (HGV Mechanic) Location: Canvey Island, Essex Salary: £16 per hour Contract: Temporary Refine Recruitment is currently seeking a qualified Workshop Fitter to join a busy local authority workshop in Canvey Island.
This role offers competitive pay and the opportunity to work with a diverse fleet of vehicles.
What You'll Do Maintain and repair vehicles from grounds maintenance equipment to HGVs Conduct vehicle servicing and major overhauls Prepare vehicles for LGV and MOT tests Perform roadside repairs when required Manage parts inventory and documentation Must Have Class 2/HGV Licence HGV driving experience Proven mechanical and diagnostic skills Municipal vehicle experience (preferred)
