Due to continued growth, we are now seeking a Workshop Engineer/Technician to join the team here at Brighouse.Position Overview:The Workshop Engineer will be responsible for the servicing and repair of Dawsongroup environmental municipal civil Limited's (DGEMC) hire fleet equipment.As the Workshop Engineer you will be responsible for:Fault diagnosis, repair and routine maintenance of sweepers and other company equipmentExamining sweepers and other company equipmentCarrying out vehicle inspections and MOT checks, delivering vehicles to MOT test stationsAssisting the rental operations department, ensuring weekly stock checks of all hire fleet assets not on rentThe successful Workshop Engineer will hold:HGV mechanical experience (ideally)Experience dealing with hydraulic systemsBasic electrics knowledge What we offer in return:Competitive Salary Package24 Days holiday + 1 day birthday holiday + bank holidaysAllocation of a turkey at ChristmasEmployer supported volunteering daysLife Assurance x2 Annual salaryCycle to work schemeInternal promotion pathwaysRefer a friend scheme – earn up to £200Flu JabAnnual Health AssessmentDawson Group PLC is an equal opportunity employer.
