SUMMARY OF THE ROLE Overseeing the maintenance, inspection, and testing of winching and ancillary equipment for both Rotrex and its clients to ensure adherence to the highest standards.
OVERVIEW OF ACCOUNTABILITIES Maintenance, testing and certification of winching and ancillary equipment.
Potential requirement to participating in the breakdown service for maintenance/repair of winching equipment outside office hours.
Ensuring correct administrative completion.
Co-responsibility for order and tidiness in the workshop.
Any other work relating to the workshop.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Completed training or qualification in mechanics, engineering, electromechanical disciplines, or comparable level obtained through experience.
Knowledge or understanding of hydraulics is desirable.
Previous experience of working on plant, HGV's or agricultural equipment Basic safety awareness and understanding 3 years mechanical engineering experience A positive and determined approach to researching and analysing breakdowns Self-motivated with capability of working independently Ability to prioritise effectively under pressure when required Excellent organisational and time management skills Able to travel throughout the UK as required for training or other business needs.
Command of the English language both orally and in writing.
