Workshop Assembler

We are looking for a Workshop Assembler to join our team on a full-time, staff basis, based at our Altens, Aberdeen branch.
Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to): - Machining of Junction Boxes and Control Stations.
- Assembly of Junction Boxes and Control Stations.
- Checking of paperwork.
- Logging of serial numbers into the computer system.
- Inspection of Junction Boxes and Control Stations.
- Ensuring workshop stock is maintained at appropriate levels.
- Maintenance and general tidiness of the Workshop Area.
- Assist within the Warehouse as and when required.
Skills & Knowledge Required: - Basic Ex/ATEX Principles knowledge (training will be provided).
- Competency to assemble all manufacturer's products (training will be provided).
- Good all-around knowledge of Electrical/Cable products (ongoing training will be provided).
- Previous experience is preferred.
However, consideration will be given to candidates looking for a Trainee opportunity.
