Job Description Workforce Development Trainer £30,000 per annum (pro rata) Part time - 25 hours per week As a Workforce Development Trainer, you will be responsible for developing a professional learning and development culture that improves the learner's experience in line with the organisation's values.
You will deliver all elements of relevant health and social care workforce development programmes including: training, mandatory induction programmes, mentoring, learner reviews and timely feedback and assessment.
You will work with our lead trainer and senior managers to develop and implement quality improvement plans to ensure an outstanding learning and development programme.
Qualifications and Experience · Level 3 Award in Education and Training – Essential · Level 4 CAVA – Desirable · NVQ Level 3 Residential Childcare or 3 years' experience of working in residential childcare OR Academic qualifications in either Psychology, sociology, Adolescent/Child Development, Mental Health and Well-being, social work or similar About The Role Main Responsibilities (but not exhaustive) · To lead on the delivery of training.
· To work in a proactive and positive way to promote the organisation and its services.
· To build and maintain positive relationships with customers, colleagues, partners and external agencies to maintain business flow.
· To work consultatively with internal and external customers, management, outside agencies and to identify future and current training needs.
· To liaise with management in the planning and delivery of training programmes.
· To manage, train, mentor and coach trainers to add value through the quality of training provided.
· To conduct supervision and appraisals to your team.
· To measure and monitor the effectiveness of learning programmes, training activities, practices and processes to ensure an appropriate return on the investment in line with the organisation's values.
· To report back to senior management on course feedback and key learnings.
To keep a record of feedback and key learning to support the improvement of training courses and the delivery.
· To provide opportunities for ongoing personal development of training courses, keeping up to date on current internal and external projects, procedures and regulations.
· To proactively research current training in the market.
· To design, implement and deliver bespoke training programmes and competency assessments.
· To report on training activities, costs, performance and produce KPI's.
· To maintain a database of potential learners and attendees for the course.

· Good IT skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
· Full, clean driving licence.
